Words have faded, voices echo...painted shadows hold me below..

I thought of posting a nice goodbye note, but nothing literary seems to be forming in this head of mine.

Two years of knowing you all and I can proudly say those were the best two years I have lived. Everyday, from the first to not knowing anyone (except a few, but I hardly knew them then!) and until now to almost knowing everyone, its an imprint that will never leave - Naveen anna's humour (which actually makes me laugh), Raju Bhai's lovely voice and support as a great friend and fellow musician, Hunk Bhai and his cracks in class that made Rupa Shankar wonder what was so funny, RJ's wonderful smile and mind, Jim's great writing skill and friend and fellow explorer, Avinash and his short stint as official band photographer and his foray into poetry, Arun (how can I forget him) our very own mechanic das and his love for the net and stunningly firm religious beliefs, Abinash and his quick brain, Ankit and his "love" for Dominick Sir's class, Haimantha (who in the whole wild world can forget him?) and his jokes and quizes, Ipsita - the silent one - and her love for english, Joydeep - our underworld don - always ready to disect, Kris macha - always rocking, Maseera and her music and voice and huge heart, Nandan and -of course- the football, Niveditha - can count on her to know anything, Raghu..halli macha and his abstract philosophy always worth a laugh or think, Shruthi and her very quick mind and quick humour, Siddharth and his 101 ways to maipulate his way through a practical exam, Uday and his super brain and commitment and strong self-belief and confidence balanced by good humour, Venkat and his commitment and light heartedness that made me wonder if I'm human many times....

So much more, so less words..

All the best,
God Bless!
varun

WILL MISS U.................

As u all know,Varun will be leaving soon.So I just thought it would be fitting if all of us could say a few words of "FAREWELL" to him, because probably the next time we meet him,he'll be a big-shot music guy!!!...(he he he!!!...just kidding Varun, just part of my corny sense of humour).
But seriously,I will miss u a lot...you are one of the most talented guys I know and I'm sure that talent will take you places...I know your probably sick of hearing me say that to you...but too bad,you got to bear with it!!!!
I will definitely miss all those practice sessions we had and all the fun we had doing them, even if we really did bug you!!!!I really had a lot of fun thanks to you..thank you for bearing with me if I've driven you crazy sometime...which I'm sure I have done!!!
Thanks also for starting this blog as a means of keeping i touch with everyone.......I hope that happens!!!!
I will really miss you a lot,you are a really great guy and a very sweet friend.Hope all your dreams come true, all of us believe in you!!!!!

love,
RJ

Anybody Home?... Other than the guests?!

Hey where are the others? There are just three helpless people maintaining this blog! What happened to the rest of you? And varun, did you send invitations to everybody?

PS: I highly recommend BBC World! Its not a 24-hour news channel, although it is supposed to be! It has got mindboggling programs for computer geeks, car lovers, scientists, naturalists, movie freaks, travellers or the plain you that is just curious about the world! Now-a-days, the only English channel I watch is BBC!

Recently "Click Online" presented a review of podcasting, some websites like worldatlas.com, newseum.org and disturbingauctions.com, and of the data network that was built into your house 20 years before the computer was invented! - your power cables! [bbcworld.com/clickonline]

You can sign-up for brief snapshots of upcoming programs at the BBC World E-newsletter site or get the entire schedule for 15 days at the BBC World TV Listings Site

Ears only

Hello!
Some songs worth lending your ear to..

Coldplay - Talk (from X&Y - one of their best)
Coldplay - Speed of Sound (from X&Y - the video is good too)
The Monkees - I'm a believer (this song was redone by Smashmouth for Shrek)
KT Tunstall - Other Side of the World (Similar to Liz Phair, but her vocals in the chorus is very catchy)
Stereophonics - Dakota (New brit band, this song has a nice chord structure)
Manic Street Preachers - If you tolerate this then your children will be next (great lyrics, great song, cool for drumming)

Listen away,
varun

I GOT INTO JOSEPHS TO DO BSc BIOTECH....MY DREAM IS FINALLY COMIN TRUE!!!!.....
WAITIN TO HEAR FROM THE OTHERS!!!!

By Blogger ranjana, at Tue Jun 07, 06:28:00 PM GMT+5:30

  • CONGRATS - your dream is here. All the very best!!

The others? I wonder if anyone else exists? Hardly any news at all....I guess everyone is busy with admissions and all the brauhaha that goes with it.

Everything for my "journey across" is getting ready and set - just the sprinkles and cherry left to top it all! I'll blog in an update of how/why/when I'm leaving.

    EnJoY!

  • I exist, I exist...

Anyway, I'm planning to do education in Singapore... well I actually was... It looks like my Singapore dreams are shattered after I took aptitude tests! The man over there (labelled 'Counsellor') asked with a serious face: "Why do you want to do a diploma [in S'pore] when you can do a degree [in IIT or sth]?" Oh gosh! I really want to go to S'pore but my parents are planning to send me for IIT coaching along with it (ie, until it is confirmed I can go to S'pore).

Btw, my aptitudes are exceptionally high: I'm in the highest 10% of all who took the aptitude tests in that centre till date!

By Blogger ADTC, at Fri Jun 10, 01:13:00 AM GMT+5:30

  • Ahh so you exist!

Way to go Arun! So whats the diploma about in Singapore?
"Counsellors" are always like that..always asking why you want to do something when you have another option. Can't they understand we are doing what we want to do because we want to do it?
Anyways, all the best in whatever you do. Do your best and what has to work out will work (do i see a white beard joining my already white hair...? :P :D).
    Take care..

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Fri Jun 10, 11:39:00 AM GMT+5:30

  • white beard? eh?

    anyway, thanx for the motiv.
