Hey,
If you have noticed, I have made a small change - the comments no longer open in a new page, but they open as a drop down menu. I think its much much more flexible.

That's a cool new addition. You're doing serious editing on the template, huh?
But I prefer pop-ups. May be you can activate pop-ups also. I don't think you have to remove the new addition.
